About Us

Hello and welcome to ‘The Druids Beard’. We are in our infancy and have so much more to add to this brand, learning from everyone who is kind enough to support us, so please bear with us.

My name is Vivienne and I have been a printer for over 40 years. I started screen printing and had a commercial print shop until quite recently, printing for other well-known labels, workwear companies, and charities.

 

More recently I have been seduced into the art of digital printing, and I am loving the versatility and quality of the full-color designs I am now able to produce.

​

The inspiration for ‘The Druids Beard’ is my brother Adrian, and yes, he is ‘the Druid’, a wonderful, colorful character known for his work in OBOD, holding enchanted druid ceremonies at Stanton Drew Stone Circle, and he is a regular face in Glastonbury.

​

I started printing him T-shirts for birthdays and Christmas, and these were admired, so out of that I decided there may be other like-minded people who would like to buy these garments and other items, and ‘The Druids Beard’ was born.

​

We are dedicated to sustainability and all our products are ethically sourced. Clothing brands are all guilty of adding to the landfill crisis by introducing seasonal ranges, having vast quantities brought in from abroad, and then ditching the non-sellers or stock surplus.

​

So we are going to be different. We print to order to avoid this cycle and do not hold stock (just a small working stock for fayres we may attend), so we ask you to work with us and order your size carefully.

We are both really excited about this project, and it will evolve however our followers want it to. I will be busy making and designing, and the Druid will be busy wearing and being fabulous. Drop us a line and let us know how we are doing.
